From XS longtails to XL delivery and service carts, our CarGoAway platform offers the ultimate in utility and versatility.

All CarGoAway models are available with or without electric motor assist. For optimal performance, functionality, and value we recommend Shimano STEPS or Bosch Cargo E-bike drive systems with our cargo bike builds. Please inquire for information on building around other drive systems.

The CarGoAway Medium is designed around carrying 4 grocery bags in the front compartment(56x56x32cm high) and rear area that allows a small passenger to ride on the back.  The passenger area can also be made to hold panniers if you desire. We have successfully tested this design with a gross weight over 400 lb.

The CarGoAway  XL is designed around carrying 5-6 grocery bags in the front compartment(70x67x32cm high) and rear area that allows a small passenger to ride on the back.  The passenger area can also be made to hold 4 panniers if you desire. We have successfully tested this design with a gross weight over 450 lb.

Pricing reflects base price for frame/fork and is a deposit towards the completed project. Deposits are required to secure a place on our schedule.

A note on pricing and deposits for custom frames: Prices reflect base pricing for the product with standard features, not complete bikes. This is a deposit towards a final order and is not a final price.  Deposits secure your place in our work schedule.

After a deposit is placed a work order for each project is generated. We’ll work with you to determine the exact fit, design, features, and finish details for your project and applicable pricing for frame, frame/fork sets, and complete bike orders. Details such as electric assist, custom paint, internal cables, shaped tubing, etc are available on any custom bike.

Delivery dates for custom bicycle orders can very a great deal depending on fabrication complexity, similarities with other projects that lend to small batch manufacturing efficiency, time of year, volume of orders, etc.
