COMPRESSION MEMBERS, 10"
* Prevents external pressures from damaging the packed bicycle.
* Made of 1/2" PVC plastic.
* Recommended for use with the hard case or cardboard box only, will not work with backpack cases.
* Approximate weight is 130 grams.

* Recommended for use in sets of 3 or 4.
* How they work: "Pressure is kept away from the packed bicycle by transferring loads from one side of the case to the other side through a 1/2" PVC plastic pipe which is held in place by two plastic disks. The disks can move sideways in the case to avoid added pressure against the bike if it shifts. To use this device, the first plastic disk is either placed in the bottom of the case before packing or once it's packed, the disc is slipped between the paced items to the bottom. After the bike is completely packed, a plastic pipe is inserted into the socket of the disk lying on the bottom of the case. The final step is to slip the second disk onto the top end of the pipe."

SECURITY NET
* Adjustable to fit a 10" or 12" or 14" case.
* Keeps the frame, wheels and compression members together if the TSA (Transportation Security Administration) inspectors open the lid at the airport.
* See-through mesh allows inspectors to see what's inside without unpacking the case.
* Allows the contents to be removed from the case for inspection while still being held together.
* Net holds components together so they are less likely to shift during transit.
* Approximate weight is 135 grams.
* How they work: "The primary reason for the introduction of the security net was to reduce the potential for damage to the packed bike due to improper repacking being done by TSA baggage inspectors. Our security net keeps the contents--including the compression members--held tightly together so the case can not only be opened but the whole assembly can be lifted and removed for inspection of the case bottom. An added benefit to the security net is that it restrains the case contents to minimize shifting which could cause damage to the components."

PROTECTIVE FRAME TUBE COVERS
* Protects frame tubes and components from scratches when the bicycle is packed.
* Made of foam sandwiched between nylon fabric and loop fabric.
* Secured with Velcro-like hook and loop material.
* 4-inch rolls are ideal for small seat- and chain-stays up to .75" diameter.
* 5.5-inch rolls are ideal for fork blades and frame tubes up to 1.25" diameter.
* 7.5-inch rolls are ideal for frame tubes up to 1.75" diameter.
* 9-inch rolls are ideal for frame tubes up to 2" diameter.
* (It is possible to use a large tube cover on a small diameter tube.)
* A single bike generally requires one roll of 5.5" and one roll of 7.5" material.
* A tandem can usually be done with one roll of 5.5" and two rolls of 7.5" material.
* Rolls are a single 10-foot-long piece, allowing for individual tube covers to be cut to length specifically for your frame size.
* We recommend measuring and cutting individual tube covers with the bike fully assembled and then labeling them with a silver paint pen. This process will greatly reduce packing time going forward.
