VPP: Half titanium, half
carbon, all mountain.
Light just got lighter. Combining a custom Ti Cycles titanium
front triangle with a Santa Cruz Blur carbon rear triangle and
utilizing the Virtual Pivot Point™
linkage system under a special licensing agreement with Santa
Cruz Bicycles, this all-mountain linkage configuration
eliminates shock compression under pedal load without
compromising shock absorption.
Unlike many other designs that effectively lock out the rear
end, the VPP system is designed to create an equilibrium between
the downward force of pedaling and the reactive force of chain
tension, allowing the suspension to remain active under
acceleration load.
